Beauty Weddings RECEIVES NATIONAL RECOGNITION FROM ICE THE CAKE


November 2011: Beauty Weddings is celebrating receiving Highly Commended in the Best on The Day Support category at the Ice the Cake (www.icethecake.co.uk) ‘Credible and Incredible’ wedding suppliers of 2011 award ceremony.

The  ‘Glamorous Frocks and Sparkly Rocks’ awards took place on Sunday 27th November at the Bicester Hotel Golf & Spa and were hosted by Ice the Cake, a unique online wedding consultancy.  The event was a glittering affair and 33 companies came together to celebrate a range of inspiring businesses and people who work tirelessly to make many couple’s big day so special.

What's new at Beauty Weddings


Beauty Weddings aren't just about planning weddings.   We have decided to change course a little, whilst still offering wedding planning we are also providing a variety of services that we have been more in demand for and are now looking to deliver on a permanent basis.


Venue Decoration
We have a few options here, we can decorate your venue to your exact requirements using your own items, and collect any hire items the day before on your behalf or if you wish we can provide a package to suit your needs.



On the Day Management
You have spent months on your wedding plans and your wedding day is one of the most magical and special days that you will ever have and the last thing you want is to be running around on the morning of your wedding dealing with last minute details. We can offer this service to make sure you day runs to plan.


Table Centrepieces 
We are delighted to now offer a range of centrepieces for hire for your tables.   These can range from floating candles to taller vases using Aqua Beads and fairy lights.   We also have a fantastic supplier who can supply floral centrepieces and candelabra's if required. Below are only a few examples and we can design your centrepieces to your requirements.
                                           

Invitation Management
Managing the invitations and RSVPs for your wedding can be one of the most frustrating parts of your wedding planning.  Before you know it, it's time to send out the invitations and start chasing replies, we can help with handling all that for you.


Supplier Sourcing
Finding that all important and reliable supplier can be a bit of a nightmare for many couples, we have some great suppliers that we work with that can provide you with everything you need to make your wedding day perfect.


Venue Sourcing
Trying to find that perfect venue for your wedding can be one of the most daunting parts of planning your wedding, we can assist with this if required.

Hen Party Heroics!!!

Well ladies do I have a treat for you this week.    Every bride wants her Hen Party to be a memorable experience, and not all brides want to be dressed up with veils and L plates! 


For something completely different and guaranteed to be a whole lot of fun why not go Tank Driving....yes you did read that right I said Tank Driving!

We are delighted to announce that we are now able to provide Table Centrepieces for hire.    We have a range of centrepieces that will suit your price range.    Our range include floating candles to tall vases with lighting to enhance any venue.   Because all our lighting is portable it can be utilised in both your ceremony and your reception venue, therefore reducing the outlay that normally comes with dressing both areas.

InCREDIBLE Wedding Supplier Awards

Well the 14th October is the closing date for voting and I can't say how delighted and priviledged I have been to make it to the finals of these awards.   With over 400 nominees to get down to the final 3 in my category "Best On the Day Support" really is an honour.  These awards have been launched by Ice The Cake who do a tremendous job in finding and bringing together the best suppliers in the industry.   This allows couples who are getting married to make their choices with the peace of mind that the suppliers found here are only of the very highest standard.





On the 27th November 2011, we will find out who are the winners in each category and also who is the overall winner in a glittering awards ceremony.


Regardless of whether or not we win an actual award just to be part of this event is not only giving the recognition of the work we do but also the service that we offer couples.

Do you really have Time to Plan a Wedding?

When you first start planning your wedding you may think to yourself this is going to be easy, think again...




On average it takes around 250 hours to plan a wedding, doesn't sound that much does it?  It's a lot more than you think especially when you take in your normal day to day life, not to mention the time you still need to spend with your future spouse.


There are so many things that you need to take care of it not just about booking a venue and off you go and there will be a million things that you won't think of and just as many choices, and it all takes time to organise and you will be surprised by just how time consuming it can all be.

This only leaves you half an hour per day to be planning one of the most important days of your life! Yeah but I have the weekends I hear you say, for most of us catching up on all the things we can't do during the week.   So time is even more precious.   When people rush their wedding planning they make rash decisions which can end up being costly at the end of the day, something you might like today you might see something better in 3 months time.   I had one client buy her dress on a whim, it cost her over £1000 then a few months later she saw the dress of her dreams and ended up buying that too.   Not only did she more than double her outlay for her dress, she was left with a gown that she couldn't recoup the money back on.   I have had couples book wedding bands and again a while later see someone else they liked better, they lost their deposit on the original band booked.
